STS-133: NASA invites 150 internet users

 

For the third time, the American agency is offering 150 twitter followers from all over the world the chance to follow the launch of a space shuttle and meet scientists, engineers and astronauts. In this case, it is mission STS-133, scheduled to take off on 1 November from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida which will welcome those randomly selected from a draw. To be in with a chance, you simply need a Twitter account (which is free) and be subscribed to (or be a “follower" in Twitter speak) the @NASA account on the famous social messaging medium. During the 24 hours from noon on 24 August (time on the east coast of the United States, which is 16:00 Universal Time and 18:00 French time), it will be possible to register on the “NASA Tweetup” page to take part in the draw to select the 150 happy winners.  Winners must pay all their travel and accommodation expenses.
