Image of the day

Cloud of life
With this photograph, the space telescope Hubble shows details of the nebula NGC 2467, a vast gas cloud (predominantly hydrogen) within which are born suns and later, in all probability, their series of planets. Who knows whether one of these worlds will one day shelter a life form? The new attraction at the Cité de l’Espace in Toulouse is based around this question.
