Progress returns
On 2 July 2010, the Russian cargo ship Progress 38 failed to dock automatically with the International Space Station (in actual fact, its security system interrupted the procedure due to a loss of radio transmission). Two days later, on 4 July, the spacecraft safely accomplished the manoeuvre. In this photograph, we can see the ISS’s module Zvezda in the foreground with Progress making its approach and the Earth in the background.
