The Earth by Proba-2
Designed to test 17 new technologies, the small Proba-2 satellite belonging to the European Space Agency is carrying the X-Cam. This coffee cup-sized camera regularly provides spectacular views of the Earth with a 100° field of vision, very close to that of an astronaut at an altitude of 800 km, Proba-2’s orbit. In this photograph, the X-Cam is showing part of Argentina.
