The Cupola at work
Made in Europe by Thales Alenia Space, the ISS’ Cupola observation post provides superb panoramic views of the Earth. But with its 7 portholes, this module also enables astronauts to directly monitor the movements of the Station’s Canadian robotic arm. This is why it also houses a full Canadarm 2 remote control workstation.
