The last SSME
With the coming end of the space shuttle flights, a whole series of procedures and works are going to come to a halt. Here, at Florida’s Kennedy Space Center, technicians can be seen working on an SSME, Space Shuttle Main Engine (3 of which are clearly visible at the rear of NASA’s space planes). This example no. 2062 is the last one scheduled to be made.
