Highly original, the free application ARiane from the French space agency CNES combines discovery of the famous European rocket with fun. In fact, the capital letters AR in the name of this iPhone application stand for Augmented Reality, allowing you to see Ariane take-off from the location that you photograph using Apple's smartphone (for those without an iPhone 4, an Android version is planned).
